It is a beautiful beach with more than 2km of white beach, where sand bars are formed and break here and there. There are times when it is possible to enjoy private surfing.

The area is mainly surfed in winter, but even during the rainy season when the rainy season front stalls over Kyushu, the west to southwest wind waves blowing offshore can break and make surfing possible, so it is important to check the area frequently.
