Honjo Beach is the surfing point. It has a good north swell and the specs can withstand overhead size waves with ease.

Even when the north wind is strong, the structure of the marina on the north side reduces the wind.

There are a lot of construction trucks coming in and out of the area and local people, so visitors are advised to follow the rules and manners strictly.
