Okata-Ukibushi (Western Kochi Region) Surfing Info and Details
A beach break on the north side of the Shimanto River at the mouth of the Fukiage River.
There are rocks on the inside, so be careful. Both regular and goofy waves with strong shoulders can be enjoyed.
It is a spot that can withstand over head size waves. It picks up a wide range of southwest to southeast swell.
Localism is strong in this area, so please treat the locals with good manners and civility as a member of society.
