Isegahamai(Hyuga, Miyazaki Region) Surfing Info and Details
A bay surfing spot with a good location surrounded by capes on both sides. However, the surfing capacity is limited and there are many locals. The point is blessed with good sea water quality and has been selected as one of the 88 best beaches for swimming. From early spring to early fall, typhoons and low pressure south swells make the goofy break from the rocky area on the back right entertain intermediate and advanced surfers. There is also a machine break at Isekehama Spot, which is a great point for beginners to practice, but be careful of the offshore currents that occur on both sides of the beach.
