Like other surfing spots in Nagasaki, it is possible to surf during the typhoon season and when the westward wind increases due to the west high east low pressure system in winter.
Usually it is OK for beginners, but when it gets bigger, regular waves with tight shoulders break mainly along the bank.
There are many local surfers here, so visitors are requested to have good manners when entering the water.
