Isanohama (Izumo, Shimane Region) Surfing Info and Details
A major surfing spot in western Shimane.
It is located near Izumo Taisha Shrine and is easy to access. It is very sensitive to southwest swell and sometimes it breaks only here even if the surrounding area is flat.
It is also popular among local surfers because it is easy to dodge the westward wind. There are a lot of rocks on the outside, so it is better to avoid this area.
