When a strong swell hits the beach, it breaks from the outside and goes to the inside for a long run.

It is a compact beach with good water quality that has been selected as one of the best bathing spots in Japan, but there is a lot of kelp on the bottom and sometimes the water curls around the center of the beach. This spot reminds me of a surf spot with a seaweed bottom like Rishiri in Hokkaido.
To avoid unexpected surfboard crashes and leash tangles, aim for high tides and high tides with a strong east swell.
