This reef spot breaks when there is a strong typhoon swell or low pressure from the south or east.

This is a surf area that has been carefully protected by the locals for a long time, so visitors should treat it with respect. The number of surfers allowed to enter the water is limited at this point break, so please enter with good manners and morals.

There are plans to build an artificial surfing reef on the adjacent Tenma beach, which is rare in Japan.
