Kagesuka (Northern Fukushima Region) Surfing Info and Details
It picks up a wide range of swell from south to north. It is a shallow beach that is relatively resistant to south winds, and when the terrain is right, it is a point for shortboarders to enjoy tubey waves.
The swell is so good that even Rob Machado visited Kageskapot and praised it. This is a great place to ride the waves on the rising tide.
When the tide is up, the current is very strong, so visitors should be especially careful. The parking space is large, but there are many fishermen here, so visitors should be aware of the morality of parking their vehicles.
