Matsubayashi is a surf spot located at the southernmost tip of the beach of Kokufu. It is relatively easy to dodge the southwesterly wind.

It is easy for surfers to gather because the parking lot facilities are substantial. Often one size smaller than others.

Further south, the number of surfers and waves will decrease, making it an ideal area for beginners to practice. This area is one of the deepest waters in the beach area of Kokufu, and it is relatively difficult to close even with strong swells such as typhoons.
